Our covers are made large enough, also at the back.  Covers do shrink a bit over time, and by making them large enough it is avoided to have over time the stitching seam into the ironing area.  This would have a negative impact on the ironing quality.

The seam in which the cord is inserted, is made in sturdy material.  This prevents tearing due to the chafing of the cord.

Even the cords are selected carefully, so that they can be tied and untied easily.

We provide our covers in 100% polyester or 100% aramid fibre.  These materials are much better than the covers that are made out of cotton, because cotton absorbs moisture and easily stays wet.

Polyester has the property to be very smooth.  It has the advantage that textile can slide very easily over it and the laundry is therefore easy to manipulate.

Aramid on the other hand, is restitant to high temperatures and has therefore a very long service life.  Our aramid texile is selected carefully to have the perfect structure: not too smooth and not too coarse.

We advise to pay close attention to the base layer(s) of the cover.  It has a high impact on permeability and ironing results.  That's why we advise our base layer made of silicon foam: it has good permeability, fits nicely around, and has a very long service life.
