Belt filters are automated filter machines that filtrate contaminated liquid.  This liquid is sprayed upon the filter cloth, pure liquid permeates and the contaminated residue remains upon the filter belt.  This filter cloth comes on a roll and is unrolled automatically by the machine.  When too much residue has gathered upon the belt, it is unrolled, residue is scraped off and/or collected.  This way weeks or months can be continued working before the filter roll has expired.
